Description
Abraxas was a name used by the Gnostic teacher Basilides in second-century Alexandria for a supreme power, and it appears on engraved Gnostic gems. Painted by J. Augustus Knapp for Manly P. Hall's The Secret Teachings of All Ages (1928), a book that gathers the symbolism of ancient mystery traditions, Freemasonry, alchemy and Hermetic philosophy. This unisex cotton tee carries the print on the chest.
