Description
The sea-goat is older than Greece: a goat-fish appears in Mesopotamian art more than a thousand years before the Greek stories were written. This is the Capricorn card from Urania's Mirror, a set of 32 constellation cards engraved by Sidney Hall and first published in London in 1824. The originals are pierced with holes so the stars shine through when held to the light. This boxy tee carries the print across the chest, in a slightly cropped boxy cut.
