Hermes Trismegistus, or thrice-great Hermes, is the legendary figure behind the Hermetic writings of late antiquity, a blend of the Greek god Hermes and the Egyptian god Thoth. Painted by J. Augustus Knapp for Manly P. Hall's The Secret Teachings of All Ages (1928), a book that gathers the symbolism of ancient mystery traditions, Freemasonry, alchemy and Hermetic philosophy. This unisex cotton tee carries the print on the chest.
