Description
Saint Michael Fighting the Dragon is a woodcut by Albrecht Dürer, one of fifteen large woodcuts in his Apocalypse series illustrating the Book of Revelation, published in Nuremberg in 1498. Its subject is the war in heaven from Revelation 12, where the archangel Michael and his angels cast the dragon out. The series made Dürer's name across Europe and showed that a woodcut could rival an engraving in detail and drama. This unisex hoodie carries the print on the front.
