Saint Michael Fighting the Dragon is a woodcut by Albrecht Dürer from his Apocalypse series, fifteen large woodcuts illustrating the Book of Revelation that he published in Nuremberg in 1498, when he was 26. The scene illustrates the war in heaven from Revelation 12, in which the archangel Michael and his angels cast the dragon out of heaven. The series made Dürer's name across Europe and showed that a woodcut could rival an engraving in detail and drama. This women's cotton tee carries the print across the back.
