Satan Smiting Job with Boils is plate 6 of William Blake's Illustrations of the Book of Job, a set of twenty-one engravings published in London in 1826, near the end of Blake's life. The series retells the biblical story of Job's trials, with Blake's own verses and symbols running through the decorative borders.
