Description
The Tarocchi cards are an early Italian woodcut sheet of tarot-style trump cards, printed on paper and colored by hand in the 15th century, when tarot was a card game popular at Italian courts and not yet a tool for divination. Only a few sheets like this survive. The Metropolitan Museum holds this example, which preserves the artwork of an early deck on its original uncut sheet. This women's cotton tee carries the print across the back.
