Description

Hokusai made The Great Wave off Kanagawa around 1831, as the first design in his series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. The woodblock print used Prussian blue, a synthetic pigment newly available in Japan, and thousands of impressions were pulled. It became one of the images that sparked Japonisme among European artists in the later 19th century. This unisex cotton tee carries the print on the chest.

Custom printed and made to order.
