Vanitas Still Life is a watercolor and gouache on parchment by Herman Henstenburgh (1667–1726), a Dutch painter of flowers and still life who worked in Hoorn. Vanitas pictures were a genre of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, made as reminders of the brevity of life and the vanity of worldly things. This women's cotton tee carries the print across the back.
