Description
El Greco painted View of Toledo around 1599 to 1600, a stormy portrait of the Spanish city where he lived and worked for most of his career. It is one of only two surviving landscapes by the artist, and the city's buildings are rearranged from their real positions for effect. It entered the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 1929 with the Havemeyer bequest. Printed twice around the mug.
Custom printed and made to order.
