Description
Aristotle with a Bust of Homer is a painting by Rembrandt, dated 1653. It was commissioned by Don Antonio Ruffo, a Sicilian nobleman and collector in Messina, who later commissioned two more works from the artist. The philosopher wears a gold chain and medallion often connected with his pupil Alexander the Great. The Metropolitan Museum of Art acquired the painting in 1961. This women's cotton tee carries the print across the front.
