Georges de La Tour, a French painter of the 17th century, specialized in night scenes lit by a single candle. He painted several versions of the Penitent Magdalen, in which Mary Magdalene meditates on mortality beside a skull and a flame. Largely forgotten after his death, he was rediscovered in the early 20th century and is now counted among the great masters of candlelight painting. This unisex hoodie carries the painting on the front.
